When I look at the mountain, I see a winding road to heaven. To gaze at the valley, I see the bridge between the road to heaven and our sinful world. If I were to state this to just anyone, they might say that I have my head in the clouds or that I have a good imagination. Really all I truly have is faith and that can lead me to any place I desire to go. God has led me to many meaningful places, some that I don’t know where he may be directing me, but I know they will be worth going. One destination is middle school. This is where I became closest to God. I made friends with a girl who was most kind and tenderhearted. I naturally assumed she was a Christian because of the way she acted and because of her thoughts of hope. I soon learned that she wasn’t. Feeling sorrowful, I turned to God. I was led to Romans 10:14, “How then, shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” I then knew that I must invite her to attend the Fellowship of Christian Athlete at school. I found the courage and strength to do so, which I never thought I could do. Since I made that first step and invited her, I have found more strength in God than ever before. I now turn to him for even the smallest things. What a friend I have in Jesus and I hope this devotion will led you to the Bible to study your faith. Remember when you have God in your heart, you have EVERYTHING. Faith
in God, Prayer: God help us to have the courage to introduce others to Christ. Amen. Prayer
Tip: Always turn to God in moments of distress and confusion.
