Scripture: Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Joshua 24:15 I believe that God is leaving his fingerprints at South Middle School day by day in my life. During the moment of silence every morning right after the bell rings we can just clear our minds or as I do choose to pray. Laws forbid us from praying in school, but it cannot affect our personal decisions. When we have the moment of silence it gives us students a choice. Teachers, parents and other adult care takers in our lives stress to us to make the right choices, just because they care about our well-being. They say the choices you make affect your future and present day, right or wrong. And they do! The choice is ours to make. We can talk to God and start our day out peacefully, or we can choose not to. Every new day brings new choices to us. When we choose them wisely we just might have a better day. Every choice you are faced with, ask God to help you make the decision wisely. Every good decision brings on a good day. Olivia Herd Prayer: Dear God, Thank You for giving us the ability and the right to go to school, to be able to make our own choices, and most of all thank you for being there for us to help us make the right choices. Please help us to come to you in our time of need. In Christ’s
name we pray,
